Who said pasta is only a side dish? In fact, it can become a real discovery for anyone who loves experimenting in the kitchen. Just a little creativity — and a familiar product turns into a crispy, flavorful, and stylish snack. Pasta snacks are an easy-to-make alternative to chips that will pleasantly surprise your guests and quickly become a favorite treat for the whole family.
Ingredients
Pasta TM JARKA (fusilli, elbow macaroni, or penne) — 250 g.
Olive oil — 2 tbsp
Paprika — 1 tsp
Garlic powder — ½ tsp
Italian herbs or your favorite spices — to taste
Salt — to taste
Grated hard cheese (optional) — 2–3 tbsp
Step 1. Cook the Pasta
Boil the pasta TM JARKA in salted water until al dente — it should remain slightly firm. This is important to achieve the perfect texture after baking.
Step 2. Prepare
Drain the pasta thoroughly and transfer it to a large bowl.
Step 3. Season
Add olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, herbs, and salt. Mix well so that every piece of pasta is evenly coated with seasoning.
Step 4. Bake
Spread the pasta in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy.
If desired, sprinkle with grated cheese 5 minutes before the end of baking for a richer flavor.
Step 5. Serve
Let the snacks cool slightly — this is when they become perfectly crispy. Serve with your favorite dips or enjoy them on their own.
Tip
For a bolder flavor, add smoked paprika, chili powder, or a BBQ spice blend. If cooking for children, try a milder version with minimal spices and a light cheesy touch.
Crispy pasta snacks are a simple way to give a new twist to a classic product. Try them — and discover a whole new way to enjoy pasta!
