Baked “Pero” Pasta with Chicken, Champignons and Cheese TM JARKA

A fragrant, tender and very satisfying dish with a rich creamy-cheese flavor, juicy chicken, and mushrooms. Perfect for a family dinner or a cozy homemade lunch.

You will need:

  • “Pero” pasta ТМ JARKA — 300 g.;
  • Chicken breast — 300 g.;
  • Champignons (button mushrooms) — 200 g.;
  • Hard cheese — 200 g.;
  • Sour cream — 150 g.;
  • Eggs — 2 pcs.;
  • Onion — 1 pc.;
  • Garlic — 2 cloves.;
  • Butter — 20 g.;
  • Salt, pepper — to taste.;
  • Fresh herbs for serving.

Step 1. Pasta preparation
Boil the “Pero” pasta until al dente. Drain and add a small piece of butter to prevent sticking.

Step 2. Filling
Sauté finely chopped onion until translucent. Add chicken breast and cook until golden brown.

Add sliced champignons and cook until all excess liquid evaporates. Add garlic, salt, and pepper at the end.

Step 3. Cheese sauce
Mix sour cream, eggs, and 150 g of grated cheese until smooth and creamy.

Step 4. Assembly
Combine pasta with the chicken and mushroom mixture in a baking dish. Pour over the sour cream–cheese sauce and gently mix.

Step 5. Baking
Sprinkle the remaining 50 g of cheese on top. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbling.
